Articulator

An articulator is a technical device with mechanical elements corresponding to anatomic structures, with which some or all of the maxillomandibular relations and mandibular movements can be reproduced on mounted casts of the edentulous ridges. An articulator must allow the casts to be mounted in the proper relation to the joints and cranium.
